The rise of Information Technology has changed every aspect of our lives. We have become heavily reliant on such technologies, to the point that it actually seems quite hard to imagine our lives without IT services, as it has taken us vicariously ahead in terms of progress and development. My interest to pursue higher studies in this discipline stems not from my academic background, but from certain additional ventures/indulgences that I have detailed underneath.
I passed my matriculation exam from …………….. in …….. with a score of …. Consecutively, after two years I passed my intermediate exam from …………………………………. in ……….. with a score of ……… marks out of ……….. I went on to complete my graduation from ………… in 2022, with a score of ….. CGPA. Before delving into the specifics of my additional ventures, I will briefly state my reasons for traveling to the USA to pursue higher studies in Information Technology.
The USA is globally renowned for domains such as IT and Data Science. With homegrown companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Google and Meta, the country has showcased a legacy of unparalleled growth and digital expansion. Aspiring students can visit such sites, including Silicon Valley, and learn about the subject/course with greater and insightful depth. Pursuing courses in IT, Data Science, Computer Science from the USA would be an unique educational experience, mainly because other countries do not have such monolithic or historically relevant sites.
The USA is also globally renowned for providing world-class educational facilities and the University of Cincinnati is an example of such education excellence. They offer a curriculum that covers every theoretical and practical aspect. Furthermore, I have gathered information from the university’s alumni, who have shared great feedback about their faculty, especially in the concerned department. Teachers are skilled and well-equipped to fulfill every academic requirement of students. Such factors have motivated me to confirm my decision to travel and pursue higher studies in the USA.
Apart from completing my graduation from the department of Engineering on Electrical and Electronics Engineering in MVSR Engineering College, which is affiliated to Osmania University, I have also received a certificate for completing a diploma course in Python programming, from Pantech Solutions. I also received a certificate for completing a course in Cyber Security Network, from Cisco Networking Academy. I completed two projects, one was entitled Hybrid Solar and Wind Power Generation by using Simulink, and the other one was entitled Renewable Energy by PV System. During my internship period I also completed two projects. One was on the development of a Chat Box based Web Technology (MINDTREE) by using web technologies. MERN also included technologies like HTML, CSS, Java, SQL. The other project was on the modeling and design analysis of solar PV systems by PANTEK solutions. Such indulgences have equipped me well with the knowledge-base and skill-set required to excel in the discipline of Information Technology. The project-based experiences have particularly honed my practical set of skills, wherein I was able to understand and apply my technical skills to accomplish real-world tasks.
I am currently working as a trainee in Mindtree, Dotnet from May ….. This is a noteworthy experience as I have learned how to engage in an active-work environment, manage several tasks, engage with teams and most importantly understand the complex dynamics of workplaces. Moreover, the company aligns well with the discipline of Information Technology, as it is an IT company specializing in digital services and solutions. I am also fond of dancing, reading books, filming videos, traveling and exploring new cultures.
My time as an employee has significantly boosted my leadership and community-building skills as well. Having to manage between various tasks, prioritize and render operations have honed my analytical skills to great extents. Indulging with teams also made me realize the importation of inclusive social values too. I have come to acknowledge diversity and the unique cultural fabric that our country has.
I also uphold the values of modesty, perseverance, enthusiasm and the thirst to always keep learning/exploring. I believe one must never stop the process of learning and must never let failure bring him/her down. With such a mindset, I shall always proceed to learn and relearn things to bring out the best of my personality.
India is emerging as a global hotspot in the fields of IT. The economy is gradually transitioning into a data-intensive form, wherein the demand for IT and data professionals have significantly risen. I am confident that my research will make a substantial impact too. I am enthusiastic about the future of my nation and eager to utilize my skills and qualifications to contribute towards its progress. My career goal is to add towards my home country’s wheel of progress.
