I graduated in …………. and have been working as a Pega developer in Aria Tech Solutions. I have always had to keep myself updated by working during the day and then learning at night. However, even though I have learnt so much on my own and while at work, I find that the lack of professional qualifications impedes further progress. I may stagnate in this position for ever. I wish to overcome this and am now stopping work to pursue the MS in computer science course.

I completed undergraduate studies in Computer Science Engineering in ………. with an overall score of …………..%. I then started work in a private company. I would now like to pursue the MS in computer science course and focus on database management, SQL, software architecting for enterprises, systems analysis, statistical analysis and the use of AI and ML. I have to upgrade my skills and knowledge to the next level so as to aspire to better paying jobs.

This program is right for me since its duration is short but concentrated. It starts right away with advanced topics instead of lingering over basics. The course includes lectures, tutorials and seminars as well as lectures by guest speakers from industry. Students get to do practical work. Their progress is evaluated on an ongoing basis. A student must always be alert and on their toes.

I joined Aria Tech IT Solutions after completing my college studies in ……….. I have about 5 years experience in the IT industry and am currently working as a Pega Developer.

Classes/projects

It was fortunate that Aria Tech IT Solutions employed me and gave me training in Pega. I have a certificate as a Pega developer gained while working at Aria Tech.

The chief project I did for my degree course was the development of a Library Management System.

Today, I am a team leader at Aria Tech where I guide juniors in matters of programming and structured development. During my college days I was active in various co-curricular activities. During my weekly holidays I make it a point to work with an NGO in one of their community service projects.

Values I bring to the institution

I am ambitious and wish to climb higher. I also wish to use my knowledge and skills at work. I hope to do well in studies at this university to justify its granting admission to me and, on completion of studies, I hope to take on more challenges at work.

Career goals and how this course will help

I am ambitious and hope to attain senior positions at work. India is developing fast with large industries modernizing their operations. IT is at the core of everything and such enterprises need highly qualified IT professionals. I am sure to find a well-paying job in any such industry. There are other options too. India is a global IT hub with companies like Microsoft and IBM running operations here. I am sure to find a placement in any of these companies as a senior developer. In two to three years’ time I could go on to become project head. My future career advancement will all be due to this course.
